Session Notes:
  • The race was slowed by four cautions, three of which were for contact. Rinus VeeKay and Alex Palou came together on Lap 38, Felix Rosenqvist contacted the Turn 2 SAFER Barrier on Lap 181 and Charlie Kimball crashed on the back straight on the final lap.
  • Scott Dixon won the 47th race of his Indy car career, and extended his streak of consecutive seasons with at least one victory to 16.
  • Rosenqvist's late-race crash denied Chip Ganassi Racing a possible 1-2 finish, promoting Simon Pagenaud to the second position.
