Photos: 2019 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

Just like Marcus Ericsson, Felix Rosenqvist, Santino Ferrucci, Pato O’Ward and Colton Herta, Spacesuit Media’s Andy Clary and Jamie Sheldrick were rookies at the 2019 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Their first visit to the Long Beach street circuit saw the two photographers trek around the temporary venue to capture the final NTT IndyCar Series race before the championship launches into its marquee month of May.

After winning the first street race of 2019 in St. Petersburg, points leader Josef Newgarden could only do as well as second at Long Beach as Alexander Rossi dominated the 85-lap race under picturesque California skies.

The INDYCAR Grand Prix on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course will kickstart three consecutive weekends of IndyCar action at the historic superspeedway, culminating May 26 with the 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500.
